Voluntary Assisted Return & Reintegration Programme
A programme open to asylum seekers from non-EU countries who wish to return home voluntarily but do not have the financial means and/or the necessary documentation, to do so.
All applicants of the Voluntary Assisted Return and Reintegration Programme (see above) are eligible to apply for a small reintegration grant, which can be used towards an income-generating activity, such as professional training or a small business set-up.
Family Reunification Travel Assistance
IOM can assist in organising the travel arrangements for family members of recognised refugees to come to Ireland, once the Irish Government has issued the necessary visas.
IOM Ireland coordinates training for government officials and the Irish policeforce on counter-trafficking issues, in addition to the publication of research materials on the subject.
